Inkstone
Last updated 1 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Inkstone, an electronic signature app for preparing documents, placing signature fields, and sending secure signing links. By using Inkstone you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the app.
Inkstone lets you import a PDF, place signature, initials, date, and text fields on it, and generate an encrypted, tamper-evident signing link. Your recipient opens that link in any mobile or desktop browser and signs there — they need no app and no account.
Every signing flow requires an explicit confirmation that the signer consents to sign electronically, and every completed document carries an audit page recording SHA-256 digests of the file before and after signing.
Inkstone is free to use with a monthly send allowance. Documents sent on the free tier carry a watermark. Inkstone Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that removes the send limit and the watermark and unlocks signer access codes.
| Plan | Length | Price (US) |
|---|---|---|
| Inkstone Pro Monthly | 1 month | USD 5.99 |
| Inkstone Pro Annual | 1 year | USD 39.99 |
Prices shown are for the United States storefront. The price in your own territory is shown in the app before you purchase and is charged in your local currency.
There is no free trial. You are charged when you subscribe, and never before.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us, under Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.
Every stored document is deleted 90 days after it is signed — on the free tier and on Inkstone Pro alike. Pro does not extend storage. This is deliberate: signed documents routinely contain other people's passport numbers and national identity numbers, and we would rather not hold that indefinitely.
The app shows the remaining days on each document so you can save your own copy before it goes, and the automatic copy to Files and iCloud Drive takes care of this for you when it is left on. After deletion we cannot recover the file for you. Treat Inkstone as a way to get documents signed, not as your long-term archive.
Any template included in Inkstone is a blank format reference only. Templates contain no statutory or official contract text, and nothing in the app is legal advice. You are responsible for the content of every document you send and for deciding whether an electronic signature is appropriate and enforceable for your purpose in your jurisdiction. If it matters, consult a qualified lawyer.
We aim to keep Inkstone available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If a change materially affects documents you have already sent, we will tell you in the app.
Inkstone is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that a signature created with Inkstone will be held valid or enforceable by any particular court or authority.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to Inkstone is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
You may stop using Inkstone at any time and delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete Account & All Data. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached in a way that harms other users or is unlawful.
If these terms change materially we will update the date above and notify you in the app. Continuing to use Inkstone after a change means you accept the updated terms.
